A wide range of drive systems.
The Crafter panel van – available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a choice of three different drive systems. The 8-speed automatic transmission is the only one in its class that can be combined with two different drive systems. It has been specially calibrated for the panel van’s specific driving characteristics, enabling both comfortable and consumption-optimized handling. |

| Efficiency Technology
These standard technologies help to save more fuel: - Start/stop system
- After shifting into neutral and releasing the clutch, the engine is switched off automatically, e.g. at red traffic lights. To start the engine again, simply step on the clutch.
Regenerative braking
This recharges the vehicle battery during overrun and braking phases, relieving strain on the engine and reducing fuel consumption.
Low rolling resistance tyres
The California makes contact with the road via roll resistance-optimised tyres. Low rolling resistance reduces fuel consumption, and with it, CO₂ emissions.
